Oversight of state-owned waterways is under the Aquatic Resource Management (ARM) Program. Staff issue authorizations for marinas, docks, boathouses, communication lines, sand and gravel removal, and other structures on and uses of state submerged and submersible land. Revenue from these authorizations is deposited into the Common School Fund.
Some uses also require a removal-fill permit.
Coordinators in the ARM Program will provide information on the type of authorization or permit needed for projects on state-owned waterways.
