Salem – the state's advisory group on Oregon's natural heritage will discuss a variety of topics at their upcoming meeting, including:

The Oregon Natural Heritage Program identifies and works to preserve representative examples of the state's natural plant and landscape resources. The program also maintains a comprehensive database on rare, threatened and endangered species, natural vegetation and ecosystem types. The council is an advisory body to the State Land Board on matters of policy relating to the Natural Heritage Program. Members include scientists, citizens and state agency representatives.
