| 2007 State Land Board Awards |
|
The State Land Board members presented four awards in a ceremony honoring projects and organizations that promote and recognize responsible, sustainable stewardship of natural resources. Recipients included:
2007 Stream Project Award: Brownsville Dam Removal Project
2007 Wetland Awards: 1) Williamson River Delta Restoration Project; and 2) Mid Valley Wetland Mitigation Bank
2007 Land Board Partnership Award: Friends of South Slough, Inc.

The Land Board approved the minutes of the Feb. 12, 2008, State Land Board meeting.

| Action Agenda |
|
The Land Board approved the release of 27.91 acres of Oregon Parks and Recreation Department's (OPRD) mineral rights in Douglas County. The site, known as Susan Creek, is part of a 79-mile trail project in the Umpqua National Forest. The project is a joint effort between the Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and Douglas County Parks Department.
