Begin the morning with a short presentation about bluebird ecology, how to attract bluebirds to your property and box placement. Join us for a hands on mushroom log cultivation workshop using local hardwood. The workshop will cover the tools needed and instructions for how to successfully grow gourmet food and medicine. Fungi have an important role in our forest as decomposers, and we can mimic that role in our backyards and gardens. We will discuss this simple method and the various mushrooms you can grow.
