Insulation RollsInsulation saves energy and improves comfort, keeping your home warm in the winter and cooler in the summer. Home performance contractors can assess your home and recommend cost-effective insulation and air leak sealing. 

Certain insulation projects in your Oregon home may be eligible for a cash payment through our State Home Oil Weatherization program.

SHOW Program Administration

Administration of the SHOW program will move to Oregon Housing & Community Services​(OHCS) in January 2018. 

Applications received​ before December 31, 2017 will be processed under the current SHOW Administrative Rules. Applications received on or after December 31, 2017 will be processed under amended rules, which are currently under review​ and open for public comment through December 19.​

SHOW Qualifications

If your home is primarily heated by oil, propane, kerosene, butane, or wood, you may be eligible f​or a cash payment if you complete certain insulation work in your home. Homes primarily heated with natural gas or electric heat do not qualify for SHOW cash payments.​

The cash payment is valued at 50 percent of the cost of the project. 

Receive a cash payment up to $500 for insulating your:

  • Attic
  • Ceiling
  • Floors
  • Walls

Receive a cash payment up to $200 for insulating your:

  • ​Exterior doors
  • Ductwork

Cash payments may be up to $2,500 for Community Action Agencies. See the full SHOW program requirements in the Administrative Rules​ .​

After completing your insulation project, fill out the SHOW Application and send to the Oregon Department of Energy. Please include your completed Energy Audit Checklist​ and a copy of your itemized receipt.

Applications are available for owner-occupied homes, rental homes, and Commu​nity Action Agencies​.
