OSU Housing & Dining Services RCM Prg
The Oregon State University (OSU) University Housing & Dining Services Resource Conservation Management Program kicked off its November Energy Challenge Month.
OSU residence halls will participate in a contest during November to lower their energy consumption. Brian Paige, an OSU student, designed four posters to remind students to be conserve energy. The posters, challenging students to be "thrifty" Beavers and not "wasteful" Ducks, are located throughout the residence halls. (Click on posters in right-hand column.)
Students of the residence hall that lowers its energy consumption the most will win an Ice Cream Sundae Party.
The Oregon Department of Energy partnered with Oregon State University (OSU) for an Energy Fair at three residence halls on October 1, 2, and 3. OSU is a partner with the Department of Energy and Rebuild America, a national network of partnerships that save money by saving energy and other resources.
