The Advisory Committee of the Oregon Department of Energy’s State Energy Loan Program (SELP) will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 26 in Portland to review two loan requests.
The first loan request in the amount of $556,000 is from Roth IGA Foodliner. The loan would finance installation of a roof-top photovoltaic system at their grocery headquarters in Salem.
The second loan request in the amount of $3.395 million is from Revolt Techology, LLC. The loan would finance a company headquarters in the Portland area. The facility would be used to design and demonstrate electrically rechargeable zinc-air batteries for use in electric vehicles.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the PDX Conference Center – Tillamook Room at the Portland International Airport, 7000 NE Airport Way in Portland. Bob Repine, Department of Energy Director, will make the final decision on the loan requests after reviewing the committee’s advice.
SELP makes long-term, fixed-rate loans to governments, tribes, schools, non-profit organizations, businesses and individuals to finance Oregon projects that conserve energy or use renewable resources.
