Oregon’s Energy Facility Siting Council (Council) will meet Friday, Sept. 10 in The Dalles. The meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center, 5000 Discovery Drive.
The agenda includes a decision by the Council on the Site Certificate Application for the Montague Wind Facility proposed for Gilliam County. No further comments can be accepted.
Other agenda items include:
Presentation of legal advice regarding the establishment of Energy Generation Areas via Rulemaking;
Overview of the National Environmental Policy Act as applied to proposed Transmission Lines;
Overview of Portland General Electric’s proposed 500kV transmission line; and
Presentation of the advisory group summary and recommendation to include carbon dioxide equivalents in council standards.
