Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE) will hold the third meeting of its Rulemaking Advisory Committee for the Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Technology (EEAST) program on Wednesday, Sept. 29 in Portland. The meeting is open to the public.
EEAST offers financing for residential and commercial energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. The program provides 100 percent upfront long term, low-interest loans to property owners, which can be paid back on the utility bill and transferred to a subsequent owner.
The Advisory Committee and interested parties will provide input and suggestions for ODOE to use in the development of permanent administrative rules related to the EEAST program.
The meeting will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Conference Room 1C, Portland State Office Building, 800 NE Oregon Street in Portland.
