SELP Rulemaking Advisory Committee to meet Oct. 25

SALEM—The state Energy Loan Program (SELP) Rulemaking Advisory Committee will meet Monday, Oct. 25 to provide input to the Oregon Department of Energy as they develop administrative rules related to SELP.
SELP offers low-interest, fixed-rate, long-term loans for qualified Oregon projects that invest in energy conservation, renewable energy, and alternative fuels, or are energy-saving recycling projects. The program is self-supporting and uses no tax dollars for administration. Oregon general obligation bonds provide funds for the loans.
The meeting will be take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Oregon Department of Energy, 625 Marion Street NE in Salem.
