SALEM—A meeting of the State Energy Loan Program (SELP) Rulemaking Advisory Committee, previously scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 19, has been cancelled.
The Oregon Department of Energy will send out notifications once a new meeting has been set.
SELP offers low-interest, fixed-rate, long-term loans for qualified Oregon projects that invest in energy conservation, renewable energy, and alternative fuels, or are energy-saving recycling projects. The program is self-supporting and uses no tax dollars for administration. Oregon general obligation bonds provide funds for the loans.
About the Department of Energy: The Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE) provides tax credits, loans, technical assistance and energy information for homes, businesses, manufacturing, farms, ranches, schools and governments. For more information, visit ODOE’s website at www.oregon.gov/energy.
