SALEM—The regular meeting of Oregon’s Energy Facility Siting Council (Siting Council) will meet on Friday, Feb. 4 in The Dalles. The public can attend this meeting to be held at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center (5000 Discovery Dr.).
The Siting Council will convene at 9:30 a.m. and the following agenda items will be discussed:

Klondike III Wind Project: Wildlife monitoring report. Discussion on raptor fatalities and Council approval of additional mitigation. Update on the status of fatality monitoring in the region and future direction of wildlife monitoring efforts.

Summit Ridge Wind Farm: Review of the “Draft Proposed Order” currently out for public comment.

Carbon Dioxide Equivalent Offsets: Update on CO2 equivalent rulemaking.

What is Biomass? Matt Krumenauer, an ODOE senior policy analyst, will give a presentation during the lunch break.
