Energy Facility Siting Council to meet on May 18

SALEM — A regular meeting of Oregon’s Energy Facility Siting Council will take place on Wednesday, May 18 in Pendleton. The public is invited to attend this meeting, to be held at the Pendleton Convention Center (1601 Westgate). 
The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the only one agenda item will be discussed:
  • Helix Wind Power Facility, Amendment #1: The Council will consider whether to begin a contested case proceeding or whether to approve the amendment request. The amendment request is on the Web at: www.oregon.gov/ENERGY/SITING/HWP.shtml.
