SALEM — Oregon’s Energy Advisory Committee, formed last year to assist the Oregon Department of Energy with emerging statewide energy issues, will hold its next meeting Wednesday, September 14 at the Oregon State Library in Salem (250 Winter Street NE). The meeting begins at 9:30 a.m.
Many of the agenda items for the EAC meeting deal with how ODOE is implementing the new Energy Incentive Programs, which the 2011 Legislature created in House Bill 3672. A complete agenda for the meeting and other information about the committee is available online at: Oregon.gov/ENERGY/energy_advisory_committee.shtml.
EAC includes organizations such as the Association of Oregon Counties; League of Oregon Cities; Bonneville Power Administration; Oregon Municipal Electric Utilities; Energy Trust of Oregon; Community Renewable Energy Association; Oregon Homebuilders and Oregon’s investor-owned utilities.
To request an interpreter for the hearing impaired or accommodations for persons with disabilities, please contact Linda Ross at least 72 hours before the meeting at 503-378-6874 or 1-800-221-8035 in Oregon; or fax 503-373-7806. TTY users should call the Oregon Relay Service at 711.
