Energy Facility Siting Council to meet Oct. 7

SALEM — A regular meeting of Oregon’s Energy Facility Siting Council will take place on Friday, Oct. 7 in The Dalles. The public is invited to attend this meeting, to be held at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum (5000 Discovery Dr.).
The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the following agenda items will be discussed:
  • Boardman to Hemingway Transmission Line project update
  • Cascade Crossing Transmission Line project update
  • Klamath Falls Bioenergy project update
  • Overview of Council process for Site Certificate Amendments
  • Discussion of potential rulemaking
The meeting will also include time for general public comments.
