SELP Advisory Committee to meet on Jan. 19

SALEM — The State Energy Loan Program Advisory Committee will meet by teleconference at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19 in Salem. The meeting is open to the public by calling 1-800-486-2460 and using participant code 910406.
Staff of the Oregon Department of Energy will present updates to the committee on the Governor’s Cool Schools Initiative. SELPAC will also hear about the heating and lighting renovations in the Montgomery Park Building (Portland), and the SiC Processing USA (Portland) loan, which will cover energy upgrades for a silicon reclamation processing plant. The State Energy Loan Program makes long-term, fixed-rate loans to governments, tribes, schools, non-profit organizations, businesses and individuals, to finance Oregon projects that conserve energy or use renewable resources.
