Three rulemaking hearings set for Energy Incentive Programs
​SALEM — The Oregon Department of Energy will hold public hearings on rulemaking in May for three of its new Energy Incentive Programs. The hearings will be held at ODOE’s main office (625 Marion St. NE) in Salem on the following days:

• May 23, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.: Draft permanent rules for transit services.
• May 24, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.: Draft permanent rules for pass-through and compliance.
• May 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.: Draft permanent rules for energy conservation.

ODOE will accept written comments as well as oral testimony at each public hearing. The written comment period for these rulemaking sessions ends at 5 p.m. on the day of each respective hearing. Comments must be submitted to: kathy.d.stuttaford@state.or.us

The EIP, created in 2011 by House Bill 3672, replaces the former Business Energy Tax Credit program.

ODOE plans to file permanent rules for energy conservation, and pass-though and compliance, before the temporary rules expire on June 19. The transit services program permanent rule filing will occur after June 4.
