SALEM — The Oregon Department of Energy will hold a public hearing on November 29 to review draft administrative rules for the Small Scale Energy Loan Program. The rulemaking hearing will begin at 9 a.m. at ODOE’s main office (625 Marion St.) in Salem.
The rulemaking includes processes for amendments, forbearance, loan delinquency and default management. The rules also increase transparency by clarifying project technical requirements and simplifying the fee structure.
ODOE will accept oral testimony on the rules at the public hearing. Call-in participants may listen to the hearing, but not provide oral testimony. The call-in number is 877-771-7176 and the access code is 481079.
Written comments on the rulemaking are due by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, and sent via e-mail to: email@example.com

ODOE will file permanent program rules in late December.
The Small Scale Energy Loan Program makes long-term, fixed-rate loans to governments, tribes, schools, nonprofit organizations, businesses and individuals to finance Oregon projects that conserve energy or use renewable resources.
