SALEM — The Oregon Department of Energy filed new permanent rules today for its Small Scale Energy Loan Program.

The recent rule changes updated processes for amendments, forbearance, loan delinquency and default management. The rules also increased transparency by clarifying project technical requirements and simplifying the fee structure.

The new rules are on the ODOE website at http://www.oregon.gov/energy/LOANS/Pages/SELP-RuleAdvisoryCommittee.aspx.

The Small Scale Energy Loan Program makes long-term, fixed-rate loans to governments, tribes, schools, nonprofit organizations, businesses and individuals to finance Oregon projects that conserve energy or use renewable resources.
