Shepherds Flat North

Facility: Shepherds Flat North is a wind energy facility with an average electric generating capacity of up to 106 megawatts and a peak generating capacity of not more than 318 megawatts. The facility has 106 wind turbines.

Status (Operating): Operations began on Feb. 20, 2012.

Location: Gilliam County, south of Interstate 84 and east of Arlington.

Site Certificate Holder: North Hurlburt Wind, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Caithness Energy, LLC, a subsidiary of Caithness Equities Corporation.
