Energy in Oregon

The Oregon Geothermal Working Group promotes the use of Oregon's geothermal resources for power generation and direct use.
The Oregon Department of Energy is the lead agency for the Oregon Geothermal Working Group, which was formed in 2004. The group includes representatives of utilities, government agencies, environmental groups, farming and rural interests, and geothermal industry developers.

Meetings of the OGWC are open to the public and the group welcomes anyone with an interest in geothermal energy.
