Operating. On January 23, 2018, the Department of Energy received an Amendment Determination Request (OAR 345-027-0057) regarding a proposed upgrade to the facility’s fire detection, alarming and suppression system. On February 12, 2018, Department of Energy staff issued its determination on the proposed upgrades. (See document in timeline below)​
