Director's Message
Cheryl Myers, Director
Cheryl Myers, Director, Economic and Business Equity
Cheryl Myers, Director, Economic and Business Equity

Welcome to the Governor’s Office of Economic & Business Equity where we are focused on promoting contracting access and opportunity to Oregon’s disadvantaged, minority-owned, woman-owned and emerging small businesses [D/MWESB].  Our website is oriented toward providing useful and relevant information to assist your business.

Under Governor Kitzhaber’s leadership, we continue our strong support of Oregon entrepreneurs, mindful of his belief that Oregon’s “continued economic recovery is dependent on businesses large and small having ample and fair opportunities to be successful.” Our Office understands that small, independent businesses are creating jobs, spearheading entrepreneurialism, and helping provide a bridge to a more prosperous future for our entire state.

We hope to see you at a GMP Roadshow location this summer/fall; you won’t want to miss learning about the exciting initiatives our traveling partner team will be sharing!

In the meantime, please let us know how we may assist,

Warmest regards,
