Governor Kitzhaber announces Chief Administrative Law Judge appointment process

​(Salem, OR) —  Governor John Kitzhaber announced today that he is accepting applications for the position of Chief Administrative Law Judge to provide strategic and managerial leadership to the Oregon Office of Administrative Hearings.
The Chief Administrative Law Judge is appointed by the Governor for a term of four years and is eligible for reappointment. This position and its duties are established by statute in ORS 183.605 - .690.  Membership in the Oregon State Bar is required.
Governor Kitzhaber fills vacancies based on merit. He encourages applications from individuals with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.
Anyone interested in filling the position must submit an Oregon Employment Application online available at www.oregonjobs.org.  Applications and supplemental materials must be received by Friday, February 22, 2013.
