(Salem, OR) — Tomorrow, August 3, Governor Kitzhaber will receive a briefing on wildfires burning in Southern Oregon, with a first-hand look at the Joint Incident Command post in Glendale for fires burning in Douglas and Josephine counties. The inter-agency briefing will include the latest information on efforts to contain the Douglas Complex Fires and the largest statewide wildfire response in more than a decade.
The event will be held at Glendale High School, and parking at the school is limited. Attendees should call Tommy Shroeder at 503-793-1993 for information and instructions before you arrive.
