(Salem, OR) — Today Governor Kitzhaber named Rob Patridge as Oregon Liquor Control Commission Chair. Mr. Patridge has served on the commission since October, 2012, and has served as the Interim Commission Chair since July of this year.
“Rob has demonstrated the skills and vision necessary to lead the Oregon Liquor Control Commission forward,” said Governor Kitzhaber. “He has the experience as well as the support to bring all interested parties together to find common solutions.”
Mr. Patridge received his Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctorate from Willamette University. Following law school, Mr. Patridge served as a deputy district attorney in Jackson County and later as general counsel of a multi-state retirement group. After serving in the Oregon House of Representatives from 1999 to 2004, where he chaired the Public Safety Subcommittee of Ways and Means, Mr. Patridge served as General Counsel and District Director for Congressman Greg Walden. In April of this year, Governor Kitzhaber appointed Mr. Patridge as Klamath County District Attorney.
