Governor Kitzhaber Nominates Erinn Kelley-Siel to Direct Department of Human Services

(SALEM, Ore.) — Governor Kitzhaber today announced the submittal of Erinn Kelley-Siel for appointment to direct the Department of Human Services. The nomination is subject to Senate confirmation.

“The Department of Human Services provides critical safety-net services for Oregonians, and I’ve been impressed by Erinn’s effective leadership as acting director,” Governor Kitzhaber said. “She’s the right person for the job.”

“I am honored to have been asked to lead and support the work of DHS staff and partners who dedicate their lives to serving their neighbors and communities,” said Kelley-Siel.

Ms. Kelley-Siel earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology at Texas A&M and her law degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
