Governor Kitzhaber Orders Flags at Half-Staff in Observation of Peace Officers Memorial Day

Flags to be lowered by order of the President of the United States from sunrise until sundown Sunday, May 15, 2011, in observation of Peace Officers Memorial Day

(SALEM, Ore.) – At the request of President Obama, Governor Kitzhaber today ordered all flags at public institutions statewide to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Sunday, May 15, in observation of Peace Officers Memorial Day.
