Governor Kitzhaber applauds Senate passage of Senate Bill 219
 

(SALEM, Ore.) — Governor Kitzhaber issued the following statement after the Senate’s bipartisan passage of Senate Bill 219:
 
“I commend the Senate for its passage of Senate Bill 219, an important part of ourJobs and Economy Agenda.” said Governor Kitzhaber. “By rewarding employers on the payroll side, this unique incentive program will encourage Oregon businesses to expand their payrolls and hire new employees. I urge the House to pass this important job creation tool.”
