Education Pathway Data
The Education Pathways diagram below provides visual evidence that Oregon is falling short in its aspirations for student completion of studies and credentials – both in high school and beyond. Developed by ECONorthwest for Oregon Learns, this diagram illustrates the educational pathways for 41,655 students in the Class of 2006, who were sophomores in public high schools in 2003-04. It illustrates some of the challenges facing Oregon and its students in achieving postsecondary success, especially at the levels implied in the 40-40-20 attainment goal.
