OBMI Approves Waiver To "CT" Credential Requirement

You May Submit Comments on this Proposed Rule Until January 5th, 2015.

The Board recently voted to initiate rulemaking to allow for waiver of the credential requirement for computed tomography (CT), if the applicant meets specific requirements and works in a rural hospital.  This waiver would be applicable to current licensees who do not have a basic ARRT credential and, after January 1st, 2017, licensees who have a basic ARRT credential but who do not have the CT credential that will be required after that date.  The Board is seeking public comment on this proposed rule, and will accept public comment until 4:30 PM on January 5th, 2015.
