Dr. Sheila Myers, N.D.

 

Dr. Sheila Myers, N.D., Bend - Dr. Myers is the founder and president of Sage Health Center, LLC in Bend, Oregon.  She currently treats all aspects of family medicine with emphases on osteoporosis, cancer and herbal medicine.  Dr. Myers is a fourth generation Oregonian with a special interest in local environmental issues and diseases.
She was born and raised in Bend, Oregon in a family of ‘natural’ traditions.  As a young adult she homesteaded in Alaska at the base of Mt. McKinley; had a family and maintained sled dog teams.  Here she furthered her studies of natural medicine and child birth.  She also became a certified EMT.
Dr. Myers has completed a family residency at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Portland, OR; where she was also an associate professor.
She has taught various courses in natural health care in Oregon, Hawaii, Alaska and Arizona. Dr. Myers also has been a guess lecturer at multiple Northwest Herbal conferences, Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, and Central Oregon Community College.  She has completed multiple publications in psychology, animal nutrition, electron microscopy of Verbascum thapus, and fungal infections.
