Interagency Firefighting Crew Agreement (IFCA) - 20-Person Hand Crews

The scope of the Interagency Firefighting Crew Agreement (IFCA) is for private contractors to provide the services of Type 2 twenty-person fire crews for wildland fires within the states of Oregon and Washington. Government may dispatch contract resources outside of Oregon and Washington.

2015 Extension
The 2013 IFCA has been extended for current contractors effective December 01, 2014 through November 30, 2015, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Agreement. ODF has the option to extend the 2013 IFCA for up to three additional one-year extension terms. New solicitations are not eligible under this current Agreement.

Work Capacity Fitness Test (WCFT)

Contractors must ensure that all crew members pass the WCFT
at the Arduous level each calendar year - 3 miles in 45 minutes carrying a 45 lb pack.

Language Skills Assessment
LSA requirements must be completed by June 1 of each calendar year. All STCR, CRWB and FFT1 firefighters must attend and successfully pass pre-season LSA testing. Testing must be completed by one of the community colleges listed below:
