Smoke Management Advisory Committee to meet March 17, Salem
WHAT – The Smoke Management Advisory Committee will continue work on implementing revisions to the Oregon Smoke Management Plan. (See meeting agenda below.) The plan regulates prescribed burning on forestlands throughout Oregon, with an aim to minimize the impact on air quality while maintaining forest burning as a management tool.
WHO – The meeting is open to the public, and public comment will be received prior to the close.
WHEN – 9 a.m. to noon on Monday, March 17, 2008.
WHERE – Oregon Dept. of Forestry headquarters, Administration Building C - the Clatsop Room, 2600 State St. in Salem.
