The Eastern Oregon Region plan provides direction for the Sun Pass State Forest and other tracts managed by the Klamath-Lake District in south central Oregon. Sun Pass State Forest is located southeast of Crater Lake National Park, and contains about 20,000 acres in ponderosa/white fir and lodgepole pine forest zones. Most of the forest is managed under an uneven-aged management system, which retains all size and age classes, and all naturally occurring tree species, for biodiversity.
Some of the files are very large, particularly the two parts of Section III, Resource Descriptions. If you have trouble accessing them, contact the Planning Specialist at (503) 945-7354.
