With ten campgrounds spread across the forest, the Tillamook State Forest offers an overnight opportunity for everyone.
Campsites in Oregon Department of Forestry facilities are semi-primitive with no electrical or sewage hook-ups. Each campsite offers a fire pit, picnic table, and room for a tent. Most campsites have parking adjacent but there are some walk-in areas in which visitors park in a central lot and carry their gear into the campsite.
Many campgrounds have an on-site host volunteer.
NO OPEN FIRES - FIRE BAN IN EFFECT Campfires and charcoal barbeques are banned. Propane and gas stoves only.
First-Come, First-Serve Camping
Vehicle and walk-in tent campsites are first-come, first-served and cannot be saved in advance.
Group Site Reservations
Effective 04.30.2015 - Group site reservations for Jones Creek, Browns Camp and Nehalem Falls Campgrounds are CLOSED for the 2015 camping season. Reservations for the 2016 camping season will open in January 2016.
Family group campsites are available at Jones Creek and Nehalem Falls Campgrounds. One OHV group Campsite is available at Browns Camp OHV Campground.
