Transportation Enhancement - Bicycle and Pedestrian Program Combined Solicitation 2012

In July 2012, the US Congress passed a new transportation funding bill called Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21 or “MAP-21" The new bill took effect on October 1, 2012.

MAP-21 did not reauthorize the Transportation Enhancement Program. Instead, it established a new program called Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) that includes elements of the former TE program, in combination with elements from other programs and some new activities.
Selection was based on the Combined Goals and Scoring Criteria adopted jointly by the TE Advisory Committee and Oregon Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (OBPAC)
Solicitation Status: Closed
The Oregon Transportation Commission awarded 11 projects, $8.6 million dollars on March 20, 2013. Projects received either TAP funds or State Bicycle-Pedestrian Grant funds, or a combination of both. For the list of projects awarded follow the link below.
Future Funding for projects will be through the "STIP Enhance" Process.
