In 2008, Gov. Ted Kulongoski formed a Task Force on Veterans’ Services to visit 24 Oregon cities and compile, review and evaluate current veterans policies, procedures and programs.
The Task Force then developed proposed legislative recommendations for improvements and to ensure that Oregon's veterans have access to the services they need and are entitled to.
Everyone interested in veterans’ issues is invited to participate in the town hall discussion. For more information, call Tom Mann at the Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs, 503-373-2386.
