Albany's Post 10 will be ceremoniously reopened Fri., June 14, at 1 pm. Dinner: 6-8 pm. Live music: 8-10 pm.

▪ Flag Day Ceremony, Flagpole Dedication in Bend

American Legion Post 4, Bend Heroes Foundation will  host the event at St. Charles Medical Center, June 14, 9 am.  Especially honoring WWII veterans. Medal of Honor recipient Robert Maxwell, Navy Frogman John Spence will attend. Eight other flags honoring local OIF-OEF veterans KIA will also be dedicated.

▪ Warm Springs Vets Host Pi Ume Shaw Pow Wow

American Legion Post 48 and VFW Post 4217 invite all to the Pow Wow, June 20-23, near Veterans Hall. Celebrating the Treaty Signing of 1855. Veteran centered event with traditional Grand Entry, Warriors Dance and community fun.

▪ 60^th Anniversary: Korean War Commemoration
Korean War Veterans of America, Dept. of Ore., will host a commemoration ceremony, July 27, 9:30 a.m., at the Oregon Korean War Memorial, Wilsonville.  Guest speakers: Veterans, South Korean officials, Oregon military. Location: Off I-5, exit 283, 10 miles south of Portland, follow the signs.
