Amenities and Services | Eligibility and Application | Donate/Volunteer | Photo Gallery The Oregon Veterans’ Home offers around the clock care and an environment exclusively for veterans or their loved ones. The amount the veteran is required to pay to reside at the Home is considerably less than other communities for equivalent care. This is because the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (USDVA) provides a daily subsidy. At the Oregon Veterans’ Home, it costs less than $170 per day for complete room and board, plus all of the other care and amenities you will need and enjoy. Memory Care for those with Alzheimer’s or dementia is slightly more (see rate table below).

An additional $2 per day for residents to purchase incidental and comfort items is recommended. Veterans with at least 70 percent service-connected disability, are provided care at no cost by the USDVA. |
