The Oregon Emergency Preparedness Workshop provides participants with
networking opportunities, training and information on programs, current issues,
lessons learned, and best practices related to all phases of emergency
management. The annual workshop is meant to strengthen and build knowledge and
partnerships throughout the state by sharing experiences and ideas that further
the resilience of our whole community.
Oregon Office of Emergency Management is pleased to partner with the
Oregon Health Authority to host the fifth annual Oregon Emergency Preparedness
2018 Theme: Bridging the Gap
from Response to Recovery
Dates: April 3-5, 2018, with
optional trainings on April 2, 2018 and April 6, 2018
Location: Sunvriver Resort,
Audience: Tribal, county,
city, special district, state and federal emergency management, public safety
and health preparedness staff, DHS/FEMA preparedness grant recipients,
non-profit and private sector partners with a role in preparedness, response,
recovery, and resilience.
Registration Fee: There is
no cost to register for the workshop
Meals Included: The
following meals are included with registration:**
- Tuesday – breakfast & lunch
- Wednesday – breakfast, lunch & dinner
- Thursday – breakfast & lunch
employees will be responsible for the cost of all meals they register for. All
meals comply with GSA per diem rates.
Lodging: Attendees are
responsible for their own lodging. All
room types are negotiated at the GSA rates with Sunriver Resort. Rooms are available
on a first come, first served basis. Negotiated rates will be honored on
reservations made prior to February 16, 2018.
Optional Trainings: Several optional trainings will be offered
during the afternoon of Monday, April 2, 2018 and others available during the
morning of Friday, April 6, 2018. More information on optional trainings will
be coming soon.
