APAC Update: June 25, 2012
Payers who are mandatory reporters for calendar year 2013 will soon receive a certified letter informing them of their status. All Dual Special Needs Plans are considered mandatory reporters, regardless of enrollment, beginning January 1, 2013.
Minor revisions were made to the APAC data file layouts. These changes become effective on January 1, 2013. The changes are minor and mandatory reporters have over six months to prepare for these changes. For more details, including a list of changes, see the Data Layout Version 2013.0.0 documentation (scroll down to the Informational Documents section).
APAC Update: June 5, 2012 OHA is now accepting nominations for the APAC Privacy and Security Advisory Committee. The purpose of this committee is to review applications for limited data sets and advise OHA on whether these applications should be approved or denied. OHA is accepting nominations for the following positions: (vi) One representative of an insurer licensed to transact health insurance in Oregon (vii) One representative of a Coordinated Care Organization (viii) One representative of a hospital (ix) One representative of an ambulatory clinic (x) One academic researcher (xi) One other interested person not represented above Please send the nominee’s contact information, current resume or CV, and position for which the nominee is being nominated to apac.admin@state.or.us. The nomination period will close at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, June 19, 2012.
