Steps to Get Started

Thank you for your interest in CareAccord's Direct Secure Messaging services.


Step 1

Once you have the background information you need, a CareAccord Organization account needs to be registered. You may want to read the CareAccord Overview, review additional information on this website, including the recordings on the Guides & Presentations page, and perhaps review the Organizational Participation Agreement and the Identity Verification Form. You will receive both documents by email with instructions on how to complete and return them during the registration process for an Organization account. If you would like to schedule a demo, please contact the CareAccord Engagement Team.


Step 2

When you are ready to register your Organization account, we would recommend that you use the name of your organization in the Account ID for the Organization account — for example, AppleClinic.admin, rather than an individual's name.


Step 3

Once the Organization account is registered, then accounts for Sub-Organizations, Individuals and Delegates associated with that organization can be registered. Register as a sub-organization, individual or delegate. Need help deciding what type of account you need?


Step 4

Once you receive an email notifying you that your account is active, you can begin using Direct Secure Messaging! See the CareAccord Direct Secure Messaging User Guide for more information on how it can work for you.
