Oregon State Hospital Research Program

Oregon State Hospital provides researchers with a unique opportunity to study policy and programs related to mental healthcare.

The information within these pages is designed to guide internal and external researchers who want to conduct studies at OSH. The pages provide an overview of the research-approval process, relevant forms and documents needed to submit a research proposal, and a list of available research resources/OSH publications.

Additionally, OSH provides access to a research coordinator, who can assist with research questions and coordinate with the OSH Research Committee.

This committee is charged with reviewing research protocols, connecting with researchers, and working with hospital stakeholders to confirm support and applicability of research. The committee gives final approval of research activities at the hospital.
