2003/2004 School Year
Participating students were asked two separate race and ethnicity questions, the first being, "Are you Hispanic or Latino?" and the second was, "Which one or more of the following would you say is your race group? (Select one or more responses.)"
The groups in the list below reflect the six race and ethnicity choices students were given and students were counted in each category they chose. For example, of the 466 11th grade students who marked 'American Indian', 34% chose only that race/ethnicity, 54% marked one additional race/ethnicity and 12% marked two or more other racial or ethnic groups.
Note: The response tables for each group are presented as PDF for ease of printing.
Warning: All information was reported if at least 50 participants answered a particular survey question.
Caution should be used in interpreting any numbers or making statistical comparisons where less than 200 teens answered a question.
