Chronic Hepatitis B and C Cohort Study (CHeCS) Publications

The CDC, in collaboration with medical centers in Detroit, MI, Honolulu, HI and Portland, OR and with support from the Viral Hepatitis Action Coalition, initiated the Chronic Hepatitis B and C Cohort Study (CHeCS). The hope is that in the coming decade, this large, population-based study will increase our understanding of the scope and progression of hepatitis B and C and provide more information on diagnosis, care and treatment.
