The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) specifies the criteria that eligible professionals (EPs), eligible hospitals (EHs), and critical access hospitals (CAHs) must meet in order to continue to participate in the Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Programs.
To receive an EHR incentive payment, providers must demonstrate that they are meaningfully using their EHRs to improve patient care.
The tables below describe the measures that can be met under the Public Health objective in Oregon. To meet any measure providers must be actively engaged in the onboarding process, which can be demonstrated by any of the following: registration of intent, message testing and validation, ongoing submission of production messages.
