Metrics and Scoring Committee
Metrics and quality measures are used by the Oregon Health Authority to determine whether Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) are effectively and adequately improving care, making quality care accessible, eliminating health disparities, and controlling costs for the populations that they serve.
The Metrics and Scoring Committee was established in 2012 by Senate Bill 1580 for the purpose of recommending outcomes and quality measures for Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs). Members are selected by the director of the Oregon Health Authority.
Work done by the 2012 Transition Metrics and Scoring Committee will be used as the foundation for this work.
The committee will be responsible for identifying outcome and quality measures, including measures of outcome and quality for ambulatory care, chemical dependency and mental health treatment, oral health care and all other health services provided by CCOs.
