Addictions and Mental Health Planning and Advisory Council (AMHPAC)

Overview

Addictions and Mental Health Planning and Advisory Council (AMHPAC) is responsible for:
  • Reviewing the Combined Mental Health and Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant application and annual implementation reports;
  • Serving as an advocate for Oregonians with behavioral health disorders
  • Monitoring, reviewing and evaluating the allocation and adequacy of publicly-funded behavioral health services in Oregon; and
  • Other advisory actions as might be assigned by the director of AMH.
 

Structure

The Addictions and Mental Health Planning and Advisory Council (AMHPAC) works collaboratively with the Oregon Consumer Advisory Council (OCAC) and the Children’s System Advisory Committee (CSAC) to advise Addictions and Mental Health (AMH). Members of AMHPAC attend and participate in at least one of the following subcommittees:

  • Behavioral Health Promotion and Prevention
  • Treatment
  • Recovery Support Services
  • Housing and Olmstead​

Stipends
We are pleased to announce that we now offer stipends to members who are not receiving compensation for their time at full council or subcommittee meetings. Members may fill out a Stipend Invoice and submit it to their council or subcommittee liaison after each meeting they attend.  Please review the following documents or visit our Resource Section:
