The new MOTS (Measures and Outcomes Tracking System), which replaces the Client Process Monitoring System (CPMS), collects client and non-Medicaid service data. Status data provides information during the treatment cycle (regularly) and non-Medicaid service data provides information on services/happenings with the treatment episode. The collection of this data allows AMH to focus on outcomes and services provided. Ultimately, AMH will be able to provide better data and information to our stakeholders, legislature and other requesters, in addition to providing better access and understanding of data for contractors (CMHPs) and subcontractors.

All MOTS providers submit data directly to AMH’s reporting system either via their Electronic Health Record's electronic data interchange (EDI) submission or MOTS Client Entry tool. From the data received, AMH develops reports on performance measures and providers are able to run reports on their own agencies or their contractors.
